A visit activity for member entrepreneurs of the National Democratic Construction Association was held in Baotou on Aug 17. Nearly 100 well-known entrepreneurs from all over the country gathered in the city to share the development opportunities in constructing a "world rare earth city" and "world green silicon city."

Qin Boyong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee of the National Democratic Construction Association, attended the event and delivered a speech.

She said that holding this event is a pragmatic action to promote regional economic development, and it is also a win-win move to provide a platform and business opportunities for the member enterprises of the National Democratic Construction Association.

In recent years, Baotou has accelerated the promotion of high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of traditional industries, as well as vigorously developed strategic emerging industries such as rare earth, photovoltaic, and wind power.

The city also built new energy equipment manufacturing bases and flag-type industrial clusters, fully demonstrating Baotou's favorable conditions for high-quality development and providing a bigger stage for enterprise investment and development.

It is hoped that member entrepreneurs will take this event as an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Baotou's good industrial base, resource endowment, development goals, and business environment for mutual benefit.
