The 11th Inner Mongolia High-level Talent Cooperation and Exchange Meeting opened at the Baotou International Convention and Exhibition Center on Aug 23. As the main content of the event, an innovative achievements and professional skills competition is taking place this week.

The 11 competitions of the professional skills final will be held from Aug 23 to 25.

An exhibition of innovative achievements is being held today. It is divided into various areas – such as one focusing on the achievements of teams of talented individuals from universities and scientific research institutes, another dedicated to the best works by teams of entrepreneurs from various cities, and an exhibition zone about the teams that have won the Baotou Enterprise Innovation and Development Award. Over 40 universities and enterprises are participating in the exhibition.

Among them, the Baotou Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology is mainly exhibiting new varieties of agricultural products it has bred, promoted and demonstrated over the past two years.

"The basic conditions for the overall layout of the exhibition hall are very good, providing us with a good display platform. I hope that, through this exhibition, more people will understand the development of our agriculture and animal husbandry industries, and will be willing to join our team," said Wang Yu from the Baotou Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology.
