The second Inner Mongolia Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Forum was held in Baotou on Aug 25. Chinese experts, scholars in the field of hydrogen energy, representatives of some financial institutions, chambers of commerce, colleges, and leading hydrogen energy companies participated in the event.

As one of the regions with the most abundant clean energy in China, Inner Mongolia boasts rich green electricity resources, rich application scenarios, and benefiting supporting policies. Inner Mongolia strives to build a significant national green hydrogen production and output base, hydrogen energy equipment production and manufacturing base, fuel cell heavy truck demonstration base, green hydrogen multiple application base, and hydrogen energy technology research and development base.

Ge Haijiao, chairman of the Bank of China, attended the forum. The bank has established a comprehensive green financial service system covering credit, bonds, insurance, leasing, investment, and other fields. Ge hoped to take this forum as an opportunity to deepen further friendly cooperation with the autonomous region government, entrepreneurs, and universities.

In addition, the "Baotou Green Hydrogen Mixing Research and Pilot Project" was jointly participated by Academician Tang Shuxian, Baotou municipal government, Mingyang Group, Inner Mongolia Zhonghao Gas Co, and Inner Mongolia Western Natural Gas Co.

The participating experts held a roundtable forum on the "situation and path of high-quality development of hydrogen energy industry." The participating hydrogen energy enterprises carried out supply and demand matching.
