Baotou provides services for job seekers
A job fair was launched in the Talent Service Center of the Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Industrial Development Zone on Aug 26. A total of 106 enterprises and institutions provided more than 8,000 jobs.
"We have a strong intention to work in Baotou and attend the job fair from Beijing," said Zhao Kaiyue, a master's student at Beijing University of Technology.
It is understood that the job fair brings together Baotou key project enterprises, including Baogang Group, Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group, and other large State-owned enterprises and agricultural and animal husbandry system institutions.
The job openings are predominantly related to expertise in fields such as photovoltaic technology, rare earth materials, carbon materials, and wind power equipment.
Liu Yeqin, recruitment specialist of Inner Mongolia Daqo New Materials Co, said, "Our company has a new project expected to be put into production in September, so we need supporting staff members. Communicating with candidates in person is more efficient than online, and both parties can understand their needs faster."
The fair also provided registration services for job seekers. Job seekers who may not fit the job requirements can submit their information for consideration. Platform staff members will review their qualifications and skills and match them with a suitable position. The information platform also has online delivery channels, while offline, it mainly serves older job seekers unfamiliar with the internet.
Moving on, Baotou is set to continue experimenting with new forms, such as live broadcasting, to enhance recruitment and job-hunting services.
