With the deep integration of the internet, big data, artificial intelligence, and the real economy worldwide, industrial digitalization has occupied an essential role in building new development potentials of the industrial economy and coping with a new round of industrial change and competition.

In recent years, Baotou, located in Inner Mongolia, has made significant progress in the realm of industrial digitalization.

The city issued the "Action Plan for the Digitalization and Intelligence of Traditional Industries," "Implementation Opinions on the Innovation and Development of Intelligent Manufacturing in Baotou City," and "Management Measures for the Intelligent Transformation and Upgrading of Industrial Enterprises in Baotou City," as well as constantly cultivated new models of industrial digitalization.

Since 2021, the city has promoted the construction of more than 350 industrial digitalization projects, applying them to more than 200 enterprises.

Baotou Tianhe Magnetic Material Technology Co has been at the forefront of developing various projects in the city, including the production line of high-performance rare earth permanent magnet material. Their dedication and commitment to innovation have helped propel the city's growth and success. Baotou has also created five national demonstration pilots of intelligent manufacturing, three national demonstration pilots of the Internet of Things and industrial internet, six autonomous region-level digital workshops, and four autonomous region-level smart factories.

Additionally, in recent years, Baotou has promoted the investment promotion of software and information technology service industry. Several enterprises in the industry have landed in Baotou, including Zhongsoft International Digital Technology (Baotou) Co.

"Next, Baotou will continue to improve the development system of industrial internet and accelerate the gathering of digital technology resources," said Ji Suwei, head of the information and software services department of the Baotou bureau of industry and information technology.
