Recently, Baogang Group held a conference about its new product related to rare earth-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating, which is designed for use in the field of new energy.

The coating has excellent corrosion resistance and friction resistance, among which the former is five to 10 times more effective than traditional galvanized products.

The product is environmentally friendly and can be widely used in photovoltaic (PV), animal husbandry, household appliances, automobiles, and other industries.

Zhao Yuhai, a former director of the Department of High-tech Development and Industrialization at the Ministry of Science and Technology, said that in the development of the PV industry, PV supports – as an important part of the PV power generation system – have an important impact on the stability and efficiency of PV power generation.

As one of the raw materials for PV brackets, the coating product created by Baogang Group can reduce companies' budgets by 5 percent, the group said.
