Following the last Baotou Half Marathon on Aug 6, the city hosted the second half marathon on Sept 3.

After Baotou went out to publicize the "Baotou Marathon" brand, the attention of the Baotou Half Marathon gradually increased. A total of 8,000 players from Kenya, Colombia, Spain, and other countries and all over China participated in the competition.

Wang Qiaoxia, the champion of the women's group of the competition, was the third runner-up in the women's group of the last event, "The track of Baotou Half Marathon is spacious, clean and flat, and the runners can exert uniform speed and maintain the same stride. I played better this time."

Baotou residents have genuinely embraced a healthy lifestyle by participating in marathons with great enthusiasm.

The event adhered to high standard services for participants. In addition to energy supply and medical treatment, the race was equipped with cooling equipment such as fog cannon cars, foot pools, and massage stretching areas after the race to help each runner recover their strength as soon as possible.
