Experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from across China visited Inner Mongolia Tongwei High-purity Polysilicon Co, the Shuangliang New Energy Photovoltaic Industry Park, and the Baotou Rare Earth Research Institute in Baotou on Sept 13. They aimed to get a firsthand look at the development of the city's silicon industry. 

In the exhibition hall of Inner Mongolia Tongwei High-purity Polysilicon Co, a tour guide introduced the company's research, development, production, and sales of polysilicon and monocrystalline silicon to the visitors.

"Our company mainly focuses on industrial silicon and serves the industry's upstream and downstream enterprises. It has been an eye-opening experience for us to visit these various enterprises today. The technology created by Baotou companies is very advanced, and we will continue to strengthen communication with these companies," said Lin Shunqing, business manager of Xiamen Silicon Metals Co.

After visiting the Shuangliang New Energy Photovoltaic Industrial Park, Yang Hongliang, vice general manager of Beijing Lbao Cotrun Technology Co, said their company has already established cooperation with many companies engaged in the silicon industry in Baotou. He also said the visit allowed them to see the research and development achievements of these companies more directly and feel the strength of the silicon industry in Baotou.
