The first Inner Mongolia Safety & Emergency Industry Expo in 2023 opened in Baotou city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 26.

The expo will last for three days and is being hosted by the Baotou municipal government.

During the expo, the Emergency Management Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region awarded the titles of "Inner Mongolia R&D and Manufacturing Center of Rescue Equipment" to Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group and "Branch of Inner Mongolia R & D and Manufacturing Center of Rescue Equipment" to Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Co.

CNNC North Nuclear Fuel Element Co and Beiben Trucks Group Co in Baotou were also awarded the title of "Branch of Inner Mongolia R & D and Manufacturing Center of Rescue Equipment".

In addition, some cities, banners and counties in the autonomous region signed procurement agreements on emergency rescue equipment with exhibitors.

Participating experts and scholars will also hold meetings on topics such as "the current situation and prospects of the mine safety emergency industry" and "safety management measures for the chemical industry" from Sept 26 to 28.
