Baotou Golden Street named a national brand

The Tea Road Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Oct 10. The event was held by the governments of China, Russia and Mongolia, aiming to jointly build and promote the "Tea Road" culture and tourism brand.

Dancing and Chinese Kung fu performances were held at the opening ceremony, immersing Chinese and foreign guests into Chinese culture.

Subsequently, a number of guests from countries along the "Tea Road" promoted their culture and tourism attractions. They introduced their natural beauty, historical heritage, and long-standing tea history, and invited foreigners to visit.

Participants said that the "Tea Road" passed through China, Russia and Mongolia, connecting the core areas of agricultural civilization and grassland nomadic civilization in Asia and witnessing the history of exchanges between China, Russia and Mongolia and other countries involved in the "Belt and Road" Initiative.

At the meeting, brands of "Tea Road" (China section) tourist attractions, cultural blocks and intangible cultural heritage items were launched. Among them, Baotou Golden Street was selected as the brand for cultural blocks.

A signing ceremony for tourism cooperation agreements was also held at the event. A number of travel agencies in Hubei signed cooperation agreements with travel agencies from Malaysia, Serbia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and Macau.
