Photovoltaic seminar to open in Baotou on Nov 2
The "Integration and Win-Win" Photovoltaic High-Efficiency Technology and Application Seminar, as well as the commissioning ceremony for module production at JA Solar Technology Co Baotou Base, will be held in Baotou city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Nov 2.
Representatives from research institutions such as the National Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, and China Electricity Council, as well as representatives from leading photovoltaic companies like JA Solar Technology, Ginlong Technology, and Jusheng Solar Technology, will attend the event.
They will discuss the development and application of high-efficiency photovoltaic technologies, contributing to the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
The seminar will include topics such as the "Direction of New Energy Development Policy in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) and Recommendations for Base Localization Development", "Planning for Renewable Energy Bases and Future Trends in Photovoltaic Design", and "Analysis of Wind and Solar Large Base Station Standards".
During the seminar, attendees will also witness the official commissioning of the 5-gigawatt module project at JA Solar Technology Co Baotou Base.
Baotou JA Solar Technology Co, as an affiliated company of JA Solar Technology Co, was established in 2017 and was one of the first photovoltaic companies to settle in the Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park.
As of now, it has invested nearly 10 billion yuan ($1.37 billion) and achieved business revenue of 5.5 billion yuan in 2022.
In recent years, the company has been recognized as a "National High-Tech Enterprise" and "National Green Factory", as well as one of the "Top 100 Private Enterprises in Inner Mongolia", among other accolades.
