Representatives from various districts and counties in Baotou city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, along with some corporate delegates, attended the expo, actively seeking collaboration opportunities and strengthening exchanges.
Over the past few days, officials from the Baotou bureau of commerce participated in the "Invest in China" session of the free trade zone investment promotion event.
They introduced key industries and the business environment in Baotou to representatives from Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and the head of the Hong Kong General Union, actively inviting companies to visit Baotou for on-site inspections.
Baotou representatives also took part in a special salon hosted by the CIIE Exhibitor Alliance Smart Supply Chain Special Committee.
During the event, experts from Shanghai Financial Weekly Media Co and the World Economic Research Institute of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences provided detailed insights into the current state and future trends of cross-border e-commerce. They also made targeted suggestions related to supply chain integration and financial cooperation.
Following the event, representatives from the Baotou bureau of commerce expressed their commitment to guiding local enterprises as they move to integrate into new cross-border e-commerce models when exploring overseas markets, aiming to enhance the level of foreign trade for local businesses.
