Media witnesses Baotou development under Belt and Road Initiative
The "Belt and Road" Initiative Media Touring Inner Mongolia Ports arrived in Baotou city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Nov 13.
Editors and journalists from prominent media outlets, including People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and China Daily, visited Baotou to explore the city's active integration into the "Belt and Road" Initiative over the past decade.
During the media coverage, the delegation visited the Mandula Port International Logistics Park, where they gained insights into the independently developed Smart Station Management System. They observed real-time dynamic monitoring of vehicle and cargo activities, including entry, exit, transfer, storage, and checkpoint data.

Cui Boqun, a photographer from Inner Mongolia branch of China News Service, remarked, "Visiting Mandula Port, we witnessed the convenient and intelligent infrastructure construction. It also showed us the efforts Baotou has made in the past 10 years since the inception of the 'Belt and Road' Initiative."

In addition, the delegation explored Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co and Firmaco Baotou Beifang Chuangye Co, experiencing firsthand the powerful technological capabilities held by these enterprises.
