Since the beginning of this year, Baotou city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been fully committed to ensuring employment for enterprises and promoting resident employment, providing a stable employment situation.

The city has successively issued action plans to tackle the difficulties in enterprise employment, 10 measures to guarantee enterprise employment and implementation plans for ensuring enterprise employment.

As of the end of October, Baotou has held 2,199 batches of various recruitment activities, with 34,300 new urban jobs created in the city and 17,100 urban unemployed individuals reemployed.

Two new autonomous region-level exemplary employment skills training bases and two employment skills training brands have been added.

Comprehensive unemployment insurance policy implementation includes disbursing one-time training subsidies totaling 4.32 million yuan ($601,478) to 446 enterprises. Unemployment subsidies totaling 34.35 million yuan have been distributed to 5,694 individuals.

In addition, the city has increased support for small and micro-enterprises in entrepreneurship loans, with 328 million yuan in entrepreneurial guarantee loans distributed throughout the city.
