Baotou Donghe Airport has introduced many new parking spaces, alleviating parking difficulties.

It has also upgraded and renovated facilities, signage, service processes, and green environments in the parking lot in front of the terminal. The renovation project was recently completed.

The newly renovated parking lot covers an area of 24,900 square meters, providing 319 parking spaces and reserving spaces for charging stations.

As winter approaches, situations where vehicles cannot leave the airport due to lack of power or flat tires have become frequent. In response, the airport has purchased dedicated equipment for jump-starting and inflating tires, available for passengers to use free of charge.

Additionally, the parking lot has introduced new payment methods, such as ETC, WeChat Pay, and Alipay, making it easier to pay parking fees and reducing wait times for vehicles to make payments.

In the first 10 months of this year, the airport saw the takeoff and landing of 17,552 flights, serving a total of over 1.7 million people with a combined cargo and mail volume of 2,732.5 metric tons.
