A training session on foreign trade and cross-border e-commerce business was recently held at the Mandula Port in Baotou. Over 40 representatives from enterprises in Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner and Donghe district participated in the training.
The training covered topics such as the background and historical development of the implementation of cross-border e-commerce import and retail policies and customs supervision policies. In addition, cross-border e-commerce lecturers provided on-the-spot answers to questions from participating enterprises' representatives.
Zheng Guocheng, the individual responsible for Inner Mongolia Guoshun Energy Co, a company specializing in the import and export of bulk commodities, gained valuable insights from the training. He shared, "Through this training, we have increased our understanding of the current trends in the development of cross-border e-commerce and policies encouraging enterprises to develop cross-border e-commerce. Our company will leverage market opportunities and policy advantages to explore cross-border e-commerce business."
In November 2022, Baotou was approved as a national comprehensive pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce, providing development opportunities for traditional trading enterprises and e-commerce businesses in the city to transition and engage in cross-border e-commerce.
Moving forward, Baotou will continue to organize specialized training activities for cross-border e-commerce, supporting the better and faster development of the city's cross-border e-commerce industry.
