A traffic police detachment from Baotou public security bureau launched a series of themed promotional activities on the 12th Traffic Safety Day Of China on Dec 2. At the Traffic Safety-themed Pocket Park on Nancaiyuan Street, residents participated in related activities.

Games set up on site helped children to learn about traffic violations.

Resident Shen Mengna, while participating in a game of aeroplane chess, mentioned that the pocket park provided rich knowledge about traffic safety. Her child learned about many traffic signs during the game.

In addition, volunteers from the Hondlon District Social Work Comprehensive Service Center distributed helmets to residents participating in the event. Volunteer Li Linwei stated that they frequently participate in activities promoting civilized traffic operations, hoping to encourage more people to participate in promoting this trend.

On the day of the promotional event, the detachment also carried out a range of promotional activities at a nearby train station, bus station, and commercial pedestrian street by distributing various promotional materials and safety helmets.
