The first sports rehabilitation training center of Baotou city was established at the Baotou Yunlong Orthopedic Hospital on Dec 9.

The establishment of the center has expanded the rehabilitation channels for people with disabilities.

The essence of sports rehabilitation training is the integration of exercise and medical treatment or therapies, providing people with disabilities with more professional and scientific services such as sports ability assessments, sports injury prevention, rehabilitation treatment, and physical health testing.

The center is equipped with a number of advanced devices, including lower limb muscle strength training and assessment systems, intelligent body measurement instruments, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, limb compression cryotherapy systems, and more.

In addition to ensuring high-level sports events and treating professional sports injuries, the center will play a key role in preventing sports injuries leading to disabilities, helping people with physical handicaps to regain their motor functions, and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
