The Hainan Culture and Tourism Resources Promotion Conference was recently held in Chengmai county, South China's Hainan province.

The conference interpreted the development trends of the culture and tourism industry and explored opportunities for growth. It also unveiled the top 10 tourism cities for 2023, with Baotou making the list.

During the event, Baotou organized a culture and tourism resource promotion activity, introducing its advantages in the development of Yellow River cultural resources and attracting projects. The event reaped fruitful results.

The Baotou Travel Agency Association and Chengmai County Tourism Association signed project cooperation agreements.

Baotou Culture and Tourism Group also reached agreements on five cooperation initiatives with Dehang Group Co in Hainan Free Trade Zone.

They will jointly host the Baotou Yellow River International Photography Exhibition, inviting globally renowned photographers to capture the landscapes of the Yellow River in Baotou, showcasing the scenery and cultural characteristics of the Baotou Yellow River.

They will introduce well-known brands to the Baotou Yellow River National Cultural Park and Saikhantal Scenic Area to open branded stores, and create a body integrated with commercial entities for culture and tourism projects.

Meanwhile, Baotou's distinctive souvenirs will be promoted and sold in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Hainan Free Trade Zone Dehang Group Co will facilitate Hainan entrepreneurs in adopting 100 Mongolian horses from Baotou, promoting cultural exchange and tourism interaction between the two regions.

Both sides will also establish the Hainan-Baotou Travel Agency Cooperation Alliance to jointly develop new culture and tourism projects.
