After a recent evaluation by the Office of the Leading Group for the Recognition of National High-Tech Enterprises, Baotou Aluminium (Group) Co has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise.

It is understood that the recognition of high-tech enterprises involves a comprehensive assessment of the company's capabilities in technology, core independent intellectual property rights, technology transformation capabilities, management of R&D, and the proportion of high-income employees.

This honored recognition indicates that Baotou Aluminum's overall strength is at a national standard.

In recent years, Baotou Aluminum has been fostering technological research and development projects in areas such as energy-efficient aluminum electrolysis, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, high-purity aluminum, and high-value-added aluminum alloy products.

From 2020 to 2022, the company undertook a total of 62 sci-tech research and development projects, which achieved 62 cases of technology transformation and 48 independent intellectual property rights patents.
