Recently, the Baotou bureau of science and technology has initiated its "technology services for city-wide enterprises in 2024" project.

This initiative began in January and is expected to be completed by the end of September, aiming to serve over 300 newly added industrial enterprises above a designated size, high-tech enterprises, and nationally registered technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the project, the bureau will invite expert teams to guide enterprises according to their needs. It will also give detailed explanations of preferential policies and provide services such as subsequent visits to help enterprises.

Currently, the bureau has visited 16 companies in Baotou, including Baotou Jianqiang Light Plate Industry Co and Baotou Lyuyuan Ecological Development Co, to understand their innovation status, existing problems, and development demands.

Enterprises in the city have responded enthusiastically to the project. Wang Qiang, head of Baotou Lyuyuan Ecological Development Co, stated that in recent years, the company has been planning to transform into a green and low-carbon technology-oriented enterprise. The company has also planned to apply to be recognized as a high-tech enterprise and a technology-based small or medium-sized enterprise.

Wang stated that the bureau has helped the company address the challenges encountered in the application process to become a high-tech enterprise. It also provided very targeted suggestions on personnel structure, patents, and other aspects, which has increased the company's confidence in its transformation.
