Baogang Group in Baotou actively expanded its overseas markets in 2023, with its steel export reaching 1.38 million metric tons. The main exports include high-end steel pipelines, automotive steel, and steel rails. The destinations of these exports were 46 countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The international reputation of "Baogang Manufacturing" continued to rise, resulting in the high-end development of the group's rare earth steel brand.

In 2023, Baogang's hot-rolled steel pipeline exports reached 291,100 tons, a 26.84-percent increase compared to 2022. During the same period, Baogang's galvanized sheets, automotive steel, and other products were in high demand in Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia. They were also used in international cooperation projects, such as the Hungary-Serbia Railway.

In recent years, Baogang's rare earth steel production and sales scale have continued to expand, with its export volume gradually increasing.
