During the training, coaches taught students about equestrian sports and let them touch equipment such as saddles and protective gear in the stables. This vivid and enriching experience greatly sparked the students' curiosity and interest in equestrianism.

The most exciting part was the riding itself. Coaches explained to the students the necessary preparations they need to make before mounting, correct riding posture, and the proper methods of controlling the horse while moving.

Unable to contain their excitement, the students eagerly shared their feelings about riding horses, saying things like, "It's really exciting to ride a horse," and, "Today is my first time feeding a horse and riding one. I am so brave."

Zhang Lixin, Party branch secretary of the Wanshuiquan Central Primary School, said in an interview, "We hope that the class helps children better understand horseback riding and the culture of Baotou horses."

It has been reported that since the launch of equestrian teaching activities for students in April 2023, a total of 2,000 students have received training.

"We will continue to carry out activities at four schools in Qingshan, Hondlon and Jiuyuan districts, aiming to train 1,000 students," said Bian Yanru, general manager of the Dingshengqi International Equestrian Base.
