The special fiber product exhibition, jointly developed by the Tianjin Baogang Rare Earth Research Institute Co and the China Textile Academy (Tianjin) Technology Development Co, recently made its debut at the 2024 China International Textile Yarn (Spring/Summer) Expo, which was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

The exhibited products included rare earth heat storage fabrics, rare earth antibacterial yarns, and rare earth infrared reflective hollow polyester fibers.

The expo brought together more than 500 high-quality fiber and yarn companies from 11 countries and regions, aiming to create a technologically advanced, fashionable, and green yarn industry.

Among these highlighted items, the rare earth infrared reflective hollow polyester fibers were selected as part of the "China Fiber Fashion Trends 2024/2025", which was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This fiber has excellent visible-near infrared light reflection and infrared emission abilities, which can promote the thermal exchange between the human body and the outer environment, providing a refreshing and comfortable feeling when worn.

Rare earth products at this yarn expo received widespread attention from customers. Next, the Tianjin Baogang Rare Earth Research Institute Co will work with partners to promote the development of new fiber fabrics, achieving the industrialization and high-value utilization of rare earth functional fibers.

Tianjin Baogang Rare Earth Research Institute Co was established in August 2012, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earth in Baotou city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
