Baotou enterprise to produce 160 million chips per year

Updated: 2024-04-12

In recent years, Baotou has made significant progress in cultivating new quality productive forces such as onshore wind power equipment, advanced metal materials, carbon fiber and polymer materials, new energy heavy trucks and supporting facilities, and hydrogen energy storage.

Baotou Beilanxin Electronic Technology Co is a company that integrates circuit chip design and development, packaging, and testing into a complete industrial chain. Its products can be applied in aerospace, aircraft, 5G, military control, high-end industrial control, automobiles, new energy, intelligent automation equipment, and other fields.

In Beilanxin's packaging and testing workshop, integrated circuit series chips the size of rice grains are packaged.

The semiconductor industry updates its advanced processes every two years. The difficulty of making breakthroughs in industry technologies has increased, and major manufacturers are focusing on breakthroughs in packaging and testing technology to pursue low costs and high performance.

According to Ms Tan, the project leader at Beilanxin, the company "has completed the packaging technologies of single-chip and multi-chip, and boasts its own patented technology – a multi-chip packaging automatic testing system – as well as mature processing and testing processes and design and development processes."

Baotou Beilanxin Electronic Technology Co started production at the end of 2023. Its annual output of integrated circuit chips is expected to reach 160 million this year.
