The first day of operation offered free trial rides, attracting many passengers. Subsequent fares are set at 5 yuan ($0.69) per ride.
This route provides direct access to popular commercial areas and landmarks in downtown Baotou. The line passes through commercial areas such as the Kunlun Department Store, the Baobai Building, Hualian Shopping Center, Wanda Plaza, as well as parks, squares, and tourist attractions like Yinhe Square, Baotou Labor Park, and the Saikhantal Urban Grassland.
Mr Wang, a Baotou resident, remarked, "The appearance of the bus itself is a unique sight. Taking the bus allows us to tour around the liveliest and most beautiful scenic areas in downtown Baotou, making it an excellent choice for out-of-town visitors."
It's understood that this sightseeing route will operate long-term. Next, to provide passengers with an even better riding experience, Baotou Public Transport Group will continually enhance the bus’s interior, such as adding decorative lighting and recording audio introductions of the attractions.
