Mandula Port resumes clearance of small-sized vehicles

Updated: 2024-04-23

Small-sized vehicles, with eight seats or fewer, from Mongolia entered China through Mandula Port on April 15, marking the resumption of small-sized vehicle clearance.

At the port area, Baotou customs and port inspection departments cooperated closely to realize an efficient and smooth clearance process.

It is understood that to enhance supervision and ensure the orderly entry and exit of small-sized vehicles, Baotou customs organized on-duty officers to run practical drills, conduct advanced testing of H986 equipment, as well as complete related maintenance work.

Mandula Port is involved in the fourth batch of pilot ports for the passage of small-sized vehicles, with eight seats or fewer. These ports were approved by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Port Management Office.

Next, Mandula Port will further enhance its level of openness, while also promoting economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and Mongolia. Baotou customs will also continuously optimize its clearance services in order to promote the high-quality development of the local economy.
