Baotou cooperative helps intelligent plowing
Spring plowing has recently begun in Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner, with the "Beidou" system steering agricultural production towards greater intelligence.
By simply entering data such as the model of the farm machinery, names of operators, and information about cooperatives into the Beidou system from the tractor cab, technical staff members from the Niujing Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Professional Cooperative can remotely monitor farm machine operations.

According to Sun Shichun, a technician from the cooperative, the system includes a Beidou intelligent information farm machinery terminal, which is installed in the cab to collect basic data, and a camera installed at the rear top of the cab, taking photos every three minutes to understand the location of the tractor and the condition of the attached farm implements.
There is also a chip installed on the farm machinery which provides data on how much work was done by the tractor and its implements on that day, while a depth display is installed in the cab, relaying the depth of plowing to the tractor operator.
"Equipping agricultural machinery with Beidou intelligent monitoring terminals enables the remote, information-driven oversight of farm operations," Sun said.
"After the operation is completed, the software obtains operation information from the terminal monitoring equipment, digitizing operation orders, with data covering operation types, durations, locations, and areas," he added.
The cooperative, which was established in 2019, now owns 200 sets of various types of large agricultural machinery. With the support of the government, the cooperative recently acquired farm machinery which is being installed with Beidou intelligent systems.
