Construction on the "Urban Flood Control Project" in Baotou city has recently begun.
The project mainly involves the renovation of rainwater pipelines, sewage pipelines, water supply pipelines, and reclaimed water pipelines under Yingchun, Qingnian, and Linyin Roads, as well as Huanghe, and Hude Mulin Avenue.
Yang Dong, a staff member of the Baotou Municipal Infrastructure Development Center, stated, "As of now, the installation of sewage pipelines under Qingnian Road has been completed, and 240 meters of rainwater pipelines have been installed. The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-June." He added, "After the project on Qingnian Road is put into use, it will effectively control urban waterlog problems."
Currently, the renovation projects on Yingchun and Qingnian Roads, as well as Huanghe, and Hude Mulin Avenue are underway, while the renovation of Linyin Road will be implemented after the Huanghe Avenue section is completed.
