The SNEC 17th (2024) International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo recently opened in Shanghai.

Baotou took advantage of the expo to hold the Baotou Crystal Silicon Photovoltaic Industry Chain Supporting Investment Promotion Meeting.

The meeting focused on extending the crystal silicon photovoltaic industrial chain and enhancing supporting industry capabilities. It aimed to deepen mutual understanding with crystal silicon photovoltaic enterprises and promote win-win cooperation. Leveraging the exhibition platform, Baotou actively carried out investment promotion around the crystal silicon photovoltaic industrial chain and energy storage equipment manufacturing.

The meeting invited 26 enterprises, including Yingfa Group Co, Anhui Kehong New Material Co, and Shanghai Wangmai Electronics Co, specializing in batteries, modules, monocrystalline silicon, high-purity quartz sand, crucibles, and more.

At the meeting, Baotou representatives promoted the development potential, market space, and investment directions of the city's crystal silicon photovoltaic industry to the enterprises. Afterward, they engaged in in-depth discussions with the enterprises on strategies to respond to market changes and analyses of future industry development trends.

During the meeting's negotiation session, Baotou reached cooperation intentions with several enterprises in areas such as photovoltaic cells (BC cells), photovoltaic modules, energy storage batteries and cables, hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing, and hydrogen storage.
