During the recent 30th anniversary of the construction of the entrepreneurship park for returned overseas scholars, the "2024 Competitiveness Report of China's Incubation Bases for Returned Overseas Scholars" was released.

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's Entrepreneurship Park for Returned Overseas Scholars in Baotou was the only park in Inner Mongolia to make the list, ranking 15th nationally and receiving an "Excellent" rating.

Additionally, the entrepreneurship park received several honors, including the "Outstanding Park Award for the 30th Anniversary of the Construction of the Entrepreneurship Park for Returned Overseas Scholars" and the "Service Contribution Award for the 30th Anniversary of the Construction of the Entrepreneurship Park for Returned Overseas Scholars."

The event evaluated and commended 30 high-performing entrepreneurship parks out of over 300 across China. These parks have contributed significantly to local overseas talent recruitment, technological and industrial innovation, and socioeconomic development.

To date, the entrepreneurship park has attracted and nurtured 497 high-level talents, including overseas returnees. In the past five years, it has established six autonomous regional research and development centers and institutions and registered 153 new intellectual property rights.
