On July 13, the China Baotou Art Fair was held, featuring a lecture by Zhou Jingnan, a research curator from the Palace Museum, on the cultural significance of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) imperial palace furniture.

During the lecture, Zhou illustrated Qing Dynasty imperial palace woodcraft culture through exquisite visuals and vivid examples, covering aspects such as palace architecture, furniture, antiques, and weaponry.

Zhou explained that the purpose of the lecture was to showcase the unique charm of woodcraft culture, aiming to spark greater interest and passion for traditional culture among the audience.

Mr Xie, a teacher at the Baotou Yiqi Art Training Center, brought 50 students to the lecture to learn about and appreciate woodcraft culture. "I want the children to understand that woodcraft culture is not just about the preservation of craftsmanship, but also a reflection of the wisdom and creativity of the Chinese nation, thereby inspiring their love for our traditional culture," Mr Xie said.

Furthermore, Zhou highly praised the art fair, stating, "I hope Baotou will continue to strengthen its cultural development, create more influential cultural brands, and make greater contributions to the prosperity and development of the cultural industry."
