Shanghai experts offer free medical treatment in Baotou

A total of 25 experts from six hospitals in Shanghai, including Huashan Hospital Affiliated with Fudan University, conducted medical exchange activities at eight hospitals in Baotou on July 24.
Experts offered free consultations, held academic lectures, and discussed complex and critical cases at multiple departments of Baotou hospitals.
Fan Yu, director of the Inpatient Ward of the Neurology Brain Center at Baotou Central Hospital, said, "We were troubled by a number of cases of immune diseases and degenerative diseases featuring complex neurological issues, for which we will ask the Shanghai experts to provide more precise treatment plans."
Ms Wang, a patient in the neurology department at Baotou Central Hospital, said, "It's both convenient and reassuring to get professional advice from Shanghai experts."
The six hospitals in Shanghai will sign cooperation agreements with six hospitals in Baotou, under which Shanghai experts will periodically provide outpatient services and discuss cases at Baotou hospitals, while Baotou's professional technicians will go to Shanghai hospitals for further training.
Furthermore, on July 25, the Shanghai expert team went to Guyang county in Baotou to carry out free consultations, bringing high-quality medical resources to the grassroots level.
