The DJ1808 comprehensive inspection train departed from Yinchuan Station and safely arrived at Huinong South Station after a 32-minute journey at 11:57 am on July 24.
Since the launch of the coordinated commissioning and testing of the Huinong-Yinchuan section of the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway on July 15, the China Railway Lanzhou Bureau has operated 38 comprehensive inspection trains, testing 3,870 kilometers of rail.
The Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway is a vital part of the Beijing-Hohhot-Yinchuan-Lanzhou corridor, serving as a fast connection between the northwestern regions of Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, and Gansu, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, and areas of Northeast China. The project spans approximately 518 kilometers.
During this highest-speed test, the test results of professional items such as communication systems met train operation conditions.
Next, the Huinong-Yinchuan section will begin operational testing of EMU signal systems in preparation for the subsequent full-line trial operation.
Once the entire Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway becomes fully operational, it will help facilitate the coordinated development of the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos Economic Zone, the economic zone along Yellow River in Ningxia, and the Lanzhou-Baiyin Economic Zone.
