Baotou enhances living conditions of residents
This year, Baotou in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been actively working to improve the living conditions and environment of old residential communities, significantly enhancing the residents' sense of happiness and well-being.
It was recently reported by the Baotou housing and urban-rural development bureau that the city plans to carry out 115 projects related to the renovation of old urban residential communities in the city this year, affecting 32,300 households. As of now, work on 113 of these projects has commenced.
In addition, 26 projects related to the existing residential building energy-saving renovation project are planned for this year, with 23 already underway.
To support these initiatives, Baotou has secured a total of 410 million yuan ($57.11 million) in subsidies from the central and autonomous regional governments. Of this, 119.425 million yuan comes from the central government.
These efforts demonstrate the city's commitment to improving the living standards of its residents and ensuring sustainable urban development.
