Vocational skills competition ends in Baotou
Inner Mongolia autonomous region's second Vocational Skills Competition was held from Aug 27 to 29 in Baotou city.
The competition featured 56 events with 1,398 outstanding skilled participants from across the autonomous region competing. It is the largest vocational skills competition in Inner Mongolia to date.

After three days of intense competition, 195 participants were awarded medals. Baotou, Hohhot, and Ordos cities ranked in the top three in the overall delegation rankings.

A friendly competition also took place during the event. Over 100 participants from China's Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Yellow River Basin, and the northeastern regions took part in 10 events, with 33 participants winning first, second, and third place prizes.

During the closing ceremony, awards were presented to units that contributed to high-skilled talent development, event-hosting contributors, and cooperation partners.
The next competition will be held in Ordos city.
