Li Wangrong, a trailblazing entrepreneur, returned to his Baotou hometown of Haye Hutong in 2009. Focusing on cultivating specialty melons and tackling challenges like storage issues, Li's cooperative now spans 700 mu (46.7 hectares). It integrates cutting-edge techniques such as grafting and new crop varieties. His efforts have generated jobs, increased incomes, and spurred community engagement.

Another visionary leader, Zhou Changcheng, established the Tianhe Farming Cooperative in 2013. Using modern agricultural technologies like laser-assisted lighting and precision irrigation, Zhou pioneered the cultivation of high-value fruits and vegetables. His endeavors uplifted over 500 villagers, enabling 200 households to adopt advanced farming practices and increase their market competitiveness.

Even villages with limited arable land, such as Wujiacun, are finding success. By adopting a "Party Branch + Cooperative + Farmer" model, Wujiacun launched the Xinlifen Logistics Park, which generated over 200 jobs and ensured income through profit-sharing and wages. This innovation has vitalized the local economy and inspired returning migrant workers to invest in their community.

Jiuyuan district now hosts seven upgraded entrepreneurial parks and 10 municipal demonstration bases as part of its broader rural vitalization strategy. These efforts support 2,000 jobs annually while fostering entrepreneurial talent with training, loans, and recognition programs. Such initiatives underscore the district's commitment to rural transformation, creating thriving ecosystems that sustain growth and opportunity.
