The Traditional Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading Conference was held on Nov 28 in Baotou, bringing together leading voices from government, industry, and academia to explore new pathways for revitalizing China's industrial base.

Academician Tan Jianrong from the Chinese Academy of Engineering delivered the conference's keynote speech, which leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and Baotou city attended. Hu Jianbo, vice-president of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), also delivered remarks.

Hosted by CAICT, the conference convened experts, scholars, and representatives from key enterprises and regions to exchange insights, share best practices, and explore region-specific strategies for accelerating industrial transformation.
