Baotou has strengthened its scientific research capabilities with the approval of two key pharmaceutical labs by the Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Department: Inner Mongolia Key Laboratory of Disease-related Biomarkers and Inner Mongolia Key Laboratory of Characteristic Authentic Medicinal Resources Protection and Utilization. 

The former will focus on biomarker research and molecular diagnostics for major diseases, including infections, tumors, and cardiovascular conditions, while the latter aims to protect medicinal plant resources and support the industrialization of traditional Mongolian medicine. 

These labs will serve as critical platforms for technological innovation and clinical translation. Baotou's science and technology authorities will continue making efforts to enhance innovation platforms such as these, promoting industry-academia collaboration and accelerating the transformation of scientific achievements into industrial applications.
