Baotou's Shiguai district organized a job fair at the district employment service center on Feb 10, which featured nine companies, including Baotou Mingyang New Energy Co and Baotou Carrying Innovation Materials Co, offering over 200 positions spanning general labor, technical posts, domestic services, and marketing.

More than 300 job seekers attended the event, resulting in over 50 preliminary employment agreements being signed. The fair also provided policy consultation and employment guidance services. A concurrent livestream on Douyin – a short-video platform developed by ByteDance – attracted over 15,000 online viewers, expanding recruitment efforts.

This year's event emphasized support for groups including people with disabilities and migrant workers, reinforcing the district's commitment to inclusive employment.

Shiguai continues to enhance its employment services through regular online job-matching sessions and a growing flexible labor market, strengthening economic stability and public livelihoods.
