Baotou launched a large-scale job fair on Feb 14 at Jiuyuan Wanda Plaza, attracting 122 enterprises that offered a total of 2,796 jobs across key industries, including rare earths, new energy, food processing, and logistics. The event combined on-site recruitment and live-streamed sessions, with online viewership exceeding 405,000.

A policy consultation area provided guidance on entrepreneurship loans and skills subsidies, while facial-recognition kiosks enabled instant digital resume submissions. Job seekers presented positive engagement, with many securing matches in electronics, manufacturing, and quality control roles.

So far, Baotou has organized 51 job fairs this year, serving 488 enterprises and facilitating 3,099 employment intentions. The city continues to strengthen its model of securing weekly recruitment and daily service to support talent retention, meet enterprise demand, and boost local economic growth.
