The "King Deer – Baotou Overseas Chinese Workshop" project was unveiled on February 23 at King Deer Cashmere Co in Antananarivo, Madagascar. 

Zhou Qiang, deputy Party secretary of the CPC Baotou Municipal Committee and secretary of Baotou political and law committee, and Wang Min, deputy director of the Education Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, congratulated the project via video.

The project was declared by Baotou Light Industry Vocational Technical College and Inner Mongolia King Deer Cashmere Co, with active promotion by Baotou foreign affairs office.

The Chinese workshop is an innovative educational project launched by the Language Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education to serve the countries involved the Belt and Road Initiative. 

The project will help promote the integration of international Chinese education and the globalization of vocational education in Baotou's higher vocational colleges. It will also support King Deer in conducting Chinese and vocational skills training for local employees in Madagascar, creating more development opportunities for Baotou enterprises in Africa.
