Baotou has allocated 5 million yuan ($700,000) in special funds to stimulate auto sales through its consumption promotion activities, becoming Inner Mongolia's first city to implement such subsidies. The initiative has already generated 189 million yuan in auto sales while providing tangible benefits to consumers. 

The program offers six tiers of subsidies, with a maximum of 5,000 yuan per vehicle, covering both fuel and new energy passenger cars. Strict eligibility criteria ensure subsidies go directly to individual buyers. Over 100 dealerships are now participating after government-led policy briefings. 

The municipal finance bureau has implemented robust regulatory measures to prevent fraud and guarantee transparent fund distribution. This consumer-friendly policy demonstrates Baotou's commitment to revitalizing local markets through targeted fiscal support.
