Baotou Huazi Industry Co and the Key Laboratory of Environmental Biotechnology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly inaugurated a technology demonstration base and co-creation base in Donghe district on April 9. 

This partnership will utilize the laboratory's cutting-edge research capabilities to drive technological breakthroughs in Baotou Huazi Industry Co's xanthan gum industry and related fields, accelerating green and intelligent transformation. The base aims to bridge the gap between lab research and industrial production, fostering collaborative innovation. 

Donghe district has prioritized fostering sci-tech innovation, upgrading industrial chains, and promoting green development. An official from the Donghe district science and technology bureau emphasized plans to strengthen support for enterprises and incubate competitive projects, which will inject new vitality into the local economy.
