Baotou museum holds International Museum Day activities
Baotou Museum held an array of colorful activities on May 18 for the 49th International Museum Day, inviting people to experience the unique charm of historical culture.
On May 16, the "Mobile Museum Activity" introduced ethnic unity stories related to the museum's cultural relics to community residents through exhibition explanations, intangible cultural heritage rubbing experiences, and VR interactions, bringing culture to life.

Participants of the "Caocan Cup" recitation competition told stories about Yellow River culture, grassland culture, and industrial memory at the museum on May 17, introducing the city in language suited to children.
From May 18 to 25, Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology will hold a cultural relic painting exhibition that includes over 100 artistic creations by young volunteers. From May 10 to June 10, the Baotou urban photography exhibition will showcase the beauty of ecology through the lens.
Baotou Museum also launched an array of diverse activities, including a museum collection exhibition, a folk collection appraisal, and a Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) fan art exhibition. At the same time, "Cloud Tour Package Expo · Decoding Cultural Relics" will be launched. The museum extended its hours to 8:30 pm on May 18 to make it easier for people to visit.
