Baotou hosted the 2025 Inner Mongolia Wind Power Industrial Chain Conference and Mingyang Onshore Large-turbine Technology Exchange on May 29. 

The conference saw the Shiguai district government sign investment frameworks with seven enterprises, while Mingyang New Energy Land Equipment Headquarters Group secured orders with 14 key component suppliers. 85 firms discussed customized wind power solutions for Inner Mongolia autonomous region, advancing Baotou's development into an onshore wind equipment hub. 

Co-organized by Mingyang and the Inner Mongolia Wind Power Equipment Industry Promotion Association, the conference aligns with regional goals to build a flagship renewable energy industrial base, showcasing Baotou's comprehensive wind power supply chain.
