Baotou Customs enhances fluorite imports

Updated: 2025-06-05

Baotou Customs has enhanced fluorite import services by innovating models and optimizing efficiency to support the national energy strategy of Inner Mongolia autonomous region. By April, Mandula Port's fluorite imports had surged to 3,300 metric tons, up 420 percent since March.

Customs also introduced a liaison officer mechanism, slashing response time to under one hour, and launched on-site policy guidance by customs chiefs to expedite clearance, cutting costs and improving efficiency by 60 percent. Training programs on inspection and smart tools, such as the H986, further streamlined operations.

Embedded logistics also ensures instant checks and releases. "We'll refine mineral product services to fuel regional growth," said Liu Hai, a senior customs official.
