Immersive class promotes cultural education

Updated: 2025-06-06

A seminar on immersive study programs, hosted by the Beijing municipal education commission and organized by Baotou's comprehensive practice education center, brought together educators from Xizang autonomous region, Xinjiang autonomous region, Qinghai, Hubei, and Shanxi to discuss innovative experiential learning.

This event showcased the rich culture of Inner Mongolia autonomous region through handmade leather saddles, ancient rock art replicas, and traditional dairy products. Three premium study routes – from Beijing to Hulun Buir, Baotou, and Hinggan League – were highlighted, with the Yellow River culture journey drawing particular interest.

These routes offer students immersive experiences such as yurt visits, an exploration of the Kubuqi Desert, and the chance to trace historic sites along the Great Wall. The initiative aims to foster cross-regional educational collaboration through cultural immersion and interactive learning.
