Baotou has completed its 13-day junior high school physical fitness evaluation, testing 23,129 students across 10 counties. Students chose one of seven sports—football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, martial arts, or gymnastics, for assessment as part of the high school entrance exam.

To ensure fairness, education authorities implemented strict protocols including facial recognition verification, real-time score displays, and video review systems. Remote areas received special "mobile testing" services with pre-arranged facilities and psychological support. 

All test sites featured arbitration panels, and medical teams, with third-party equipment used to eliminate human error. Education officials conducted multiple inspections, emphasizing AI-assisted testing and safety measures throughout the process.
