The 2025 Inner Mongolia autonomous region cultural tourism development themed event will be held from June 22 to 23 in Baotou.

The event is organized by the Inner Mongolia autonomous region's Department of Culture and Tourism and the Baotou municipal people's government. It aims to promote the integration and development of culture and tourism on a deeper level, enhancing Inner Mongolia's tourism competitiveness.

Officials from the cultural and tourism departments of various provinces and cities, tourism experts, key cultural and tourism enterprises, and representatives of travel agencies will gather to exchange experiences and share development opportunities, injecting vitality into the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia's cultural and tourism industry.

In recent years, Baotou has integrated its cultural tourism resources, upgraded diversified tourism formats, and created distinct and exciting activities, improving the city's awareness.

By the end of 2024, Baotou had 36 A-level tourist attractions, including 14 national 4A-level tourist attractions, 12 3A attractions, and 10 2A attractions. There are a total of 128 travel agencies in the city, including 17 travel agencies with outbound tourism qualifications. The city welcomed 23.49 million domestic tourists throughout the year, resulting in a total expenditure of 31.92 billion yuan ($4.44 billion).
